With the aim of improving the environment and creating a healthier space for the youngest, volunteers from Yandex, with the full support of the Discover Serbia team, carried out an exceptional greening initiative at the Danube Kindergarten. This initiative brought together volunteers from Yandex, as well as their children, and parents whose children attend the kindergarten also participated.

The central part of the initiative was dedicated to planting 50 cherry laurel trees, thereby not only enhancing the visual identity of the kindergarten but also contributing to the quality of life of the youngest citizens. In addition to volunteers and children, parents actively participated in this initiative, understanding the importance of creating a sustainable and healthy environment for future generations.

In addition to enjoying the planting process, children also had the opportunity to participate in free robotics classes, organized by the Children’s Innovation Center. These interactive experiences provided children with the opportunity to get acquainted with modern technologies in a creative way.

Discover Serbia engineers developed and implemented the planting plan, ensuring the process was optimal and efficient. This synergy between experts and volunteers contributed to the success of the initiative, creating a harmonious environment for learning and play.

The significance of this initiative lies in improving the quality of life for children, creating a pleasant environment for play and learning, as well as raising awareness about the importance of ecology from an early age. The goal of the initiative was to create a sustainable and green space that will provide children with a safe and stimulating environment for development.

This initiative is also a symbol of cooperation between Discover Serbia and Yandex, two enthusiastic organizations dedicated to improving the lives of the communities in which they operate. The majority of volunteers were Yandex representatives from Russia, which further strengthened international cooperation and cultural diversity.
