More than 45 employees of the Go Green team and their families spent a day in nature that was more than just an outing. Discover Serbia and Go Green Team organized a Family Day in which children and parents worked, built, and arranged together and collectively left a visible mark for the nature of Avala.

“When children see that they are contributing to nature with their own hands, we know we have succeeded,” shared one parent. This Family Day demonstrated that nature and family go hand in hand.

A Survivor obstacle course was organized for the children, and the youngest participants looked forward to this activity the most. Games of speed, motor skills, and agility enhanced the family day spent in nature.

The entire program was designed so that children were not merely accompanying their parents, but were equal, active participants in all activities. Installing birdhouses, making waste bins, selecting locations for placing the birdhouses and bins—these were all tasks that the youngest approached seriously and with full attention.

This event at Avala demonstrated that a Family Day can be family-oriented, ecological, and meaningful—all at the same time. This format is not only a reward for employees and their family members, but also a message the company sends: that care for the community and nature is not a marketing item, but part of the culture.

The Family Day at Avala was realized with the support of the Belgrade Forest Management, which provided logistical and professional team support on site. Together with the Forest Management, all implemented activities were in accordance with the conditions of the Institute for Nature Conservation, given that this is a protected area.
