Ekostar Pak Supports the “Let’s Clean Serbia’s Rivers” Initiative

The company Ekostar Pak was one of the important partners of the Discover Serbia initiative “Let’s Clean Serbia’s Rivers” during 2024, providing support for actions aimed at preserving rivers, riverbanks, and natural habitats throughout the country.

Through a total of 20 river cleanup actions, Ekostar Pak actively participated not only through equipment donations, but also through educating volunteers about the importance of proper waste disposal, recycling, and responsible environmental stewardship. In this way, each action also had an important educational component, as it provided volunteers with the opportunity to better understand how crucial it is to prevent waste from ending up in rivers and nature.

Of particular importance was the donation of essential equipment for field activities—waste bags, protective gloves, and other materials that enabled the actions to be carried out safely, in an organized manner, and efficiently. Thanks to this support, a large number of volunteers were able to directly participate in removing waste from riverbanks and natural areas.

In addition, Ekostar Pak provided resources for maintaining the ecological fleet, which represents one of the key elements of the “Let’s Clean Serbia’s Rivers” initiative. Maintaining boats and equipment enables cleanup actions to be carried out in hard-to-reach locations, significantly increasing the reach and impact of the entire initiative.
