The Discover Serbia team, in collaboration with volunteers from Microsoft, successfully carried out an ecological action to clean and arrange Koviljski Rit, one of the precious natural sites in Vojvodina. This action, supported by Vojvodinašume, focused on cleaning the surroundings of the “Na kraj sveta” restaurant, creating a space that offers visitors an unforgettable experience of enjoying untouched nature.

By involving 10 volunteers from Microsoft, 3 employees from JP Vojvodinašume, and 2 representatives of the ecological action organizers Discover Serbia, this action brought together dedicated individuals from different sectors, all with the same goal – to preserve and enhance the natural environment of Koviljski Rit.

During the action itself, in addition to cleaning the surroundings, a bench was installed for visitors. This addition not only enhances the aesthetics of the area but also provides an opportunity for people to relax and enjoy the beauty of Koviljski Rit.

This action is of exceptional importance as it contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and makes the site more accessible and pleasant for visitors. By cleaning the surroundings, a space is created for people who want to connect with nature, while the installation of the bench adds value to the overall visitor experience.

The goal of this action is not only the physical cleaning of the area but also raising awareness about the importance of nature conservation. Encouraging the local community to get involved and care for their natural environment has long-term positive effects.
