In the municipality of Zemun, there are numerous kindergartens that require community support. For this reason, the Discover Serbia team once again found itself where it was most needed – this time at the “Little Prince” kindergarten, in collaboration with the wonderful volunteers from the GO Green Team. This initiative is a wonderful example of how, with the help of a socially responsible company, we can achieve a lot – this space has been given a new look, and better conditions for play, learning, and healthy development have been created for the children.

As part of the initiative, the entire courtyard was renovated, with a special emphasis on functionality and safety. Engineers from the Discover Serbia team designed the entire work plan, and all logistics and equipment were brought directly to the site – from tools to materials.

During the execution, the worn-out furniture was repaired, a new fence was provided which the kindergarten did not have before, a basketball hoop was installed, balls for play were purchased, and the concrete surfaces were painted in bright colors. Tables and benches were thoroughly refurbished – boards were replaced, elements painted, all with great care and dedication.

This action is part of a broader initiative, “Let’s Tidy Up for Children,” which aims to improve the conditions in which the youngest spend their childhood through small but concrete interventions. We invite all socially responsible companies to join us in this important mission. Children today too often grow up surrounded by concrete and inadequate conditions, and it is precisely through actions like these that we can make a change in just a few hours that will be remembered for years.
