As part of the Rolling Up Our Sleeves initiative, Yandex has demonstrated what true commitment to community and nature looks like. At the beautiful Deliblato Sands, 120 volunteers, employees, and their family members gathered for a unique environmental Family Day event. With smiles, energy, and plenty of enthusiasm, they participated in various activities that left a lasting mark on preserving this natural gem.

One of the most beautiful activities was creating and installing 60 birdhouses, which are now new homes for many feathered forest residents. Volunteers carefully assembled and distributed the birdhouses among the tree canopies. They painted and repaired the wooden fence that now shines again in its full glory, while carefully planting flowers, bringing colors and life to the landscape of Deliblato Sands. This environmental action was a true example of how we can work together to give nature what it deserves.

While adults worked diligently, the little ones enjoyed a rich program designed especially for them. The environmental workshop introduced them to the planting process, plant parts, and interesting facts from the animal world. Through creative tasks, drawing, coloring, and crafting, they developed environmental awareness in a fun way. A special part of the day included sports activities, which further enhanced the atmosphere of a true, healthy family day in nature – an authentic environmental Family Day experience.
