During the past period, we faced major water overflow that threatened the exceptional features of the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge. We are facing an ecological catastrophe that could devastate this natural gem.

As part of our initiative “Clean the Rivers“, together with volunteers from IVBC company, we organized a cleanup action at Lake Međuvršje, the largest artificial lake on the Western Morava. With the help of three ecological fleet boats and support from our volunteers, we collected about seven cubic meters of waste, approximately 30 bags of floating debris.

This action, conducted in cooperation with companies Ekostar Pak – partner of the “Clean Serbian Rivers” initiative, Epson Serbia and Rosa Water – eco fleet partners, was a preventive measure before the summer season to clean up waste before water carries it to the dam and bathing areas. Together, we contributed to a cleaner natural environment of Čačak.

We are proud of our volunteers and partners who joined us in this important mission. Through joint effort and dedication, we achieved outstanding results and significantly contributed to preserving ecological balance.
