Together with the Discover Serbia association, the GoGreen Team carried out an impressive action aimed at preserving nature and improving the environment in Surčin!

An incredible 18 volunteers planted as many as 500 trees on a designated plot in Petrovčić. The volunteers, together with the expert team of the Discover Serbia association, prepared the terrain and formed an entire new forest in an area that is planned to become a new green oasis of Belgrade.

GoGreen Team has been our significant strategic partner for years, and through this action their volunteers have contributed to raising the forest coverage level of the entire area and created new habitats for birds and other animal species, thus increasing biodiversity and laying the foundations for the development of a new forest ecosystem.

Vladimir Pavlović, founder and president of the Discover Serbia association, expressed his satisfaction with this event, emphasizing the importance of volunteer engagement and calling on other companies to join such initiatives.

“I am proud of the volunteers who took their time and participated in the action. I hope that their gesture today will be an example for other companies to join in forming the lungs of Belgrade. Petrovčić truly is that. If we succeed in our intention to reforest 250 hectares, the air in the decades ahead will be noticeably better,” said Pavlović.
