We are proud that almost every day new companies join our association’s ambitious initiative to afforest an area of 250 hectares between two forests and create new lungs for Belgrade in Petrovčić.

On Friday, March 29, 2024, AMS company volunteers planted 150 trees of various indigenous species with exceptional dedication, contributing to the formation of the scientific and educational base of the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade.

As always during such actions, the expert team of the Discover Serbia association was there to prepare the ground, seedlings, and conduct practical training on proper planting and cultivation methods. We consider these important practical lessons that, in addition to a sense of fulfillment, every volunteer takes with them after participating in the action, and therefore we always approach them with equal dedication.

AMS company employees spent a wonderful day in nature, socializing, having fun, and enriching the local community, taking a step further towards a healthier and greener future.

This initiative will enrich the landscape and contribute to improving air quality, creating a natural habitat for many plant and animal species, and enhancing recreational opportunities for the residents of Surčin and the entire Belgrade. We deeply believe that the engagement of all our volunteers will have a lasting positive impact on the quality of life of Belgraders, providing a natural environment for recreation and relaxation and contributing to global environmental protection efforts.
