In accordance with a professionally guided afforestation plan, the team of Discover Serbia forestry engineers, together with volunteers, successfully planted 800 White Pine seedlings. These seedlings were chosen for their natural adaptability to this area and will contribute to the gradual restoration of forest vegetation.

Although the campaign was carried out in extremely windy conditions, the dedicated team of engineers and volunteers showed exceptional enthusiasm and commitment to the campaign’s goal. Considering the safety of the participants, the campaign was successfully completed, and the seedlings were carefully planted with the addition of Osmocote substrate, which will provide optimal habitat conditions for their further growth and development.

As a token of gratitude and recognition, awards and medals were presented to the most dedicated volunteers. This gesture aims to highlight their contribution and commitment to environmental protection.

The afforestation campaign in Jeljen represents a step forward in the conservation and restoration of forest ecosystems, emphasizing the importance of collective engagement in nature preservation and supporting the idea of sustainable development.
