As part of comprehensive environmental conservation initiatives, Discover Serbia, Tara National Park, and GoGreen Team have joined forces to carry out an exceptionally significant ecological action. The focus of this action was on preserving the area of Kaluđerske Bare, a tourist zone of Tara National Park.
A versatile team consisting of 58 volunteers, including 4 rangers from Tara National Park and 5 engineers from the Discover Serbia team, was divided into 4 teams, each responsible for cleaning a specific sector of this unique natural habitat.
The results of this action are truly impressive, with as many as 250 bags of waste collected during one day of intensive work. This number clearly illustrates the extent of the pollution problem in this beautiful area, emphasizing the importance of preservation and regular cleaning of natural sites.
The collaboration between Discover Serbia and Tara National Park plays a crucial role in achieving the success of such initiatives. This action marks another step forward towards a common goal – preserving the biodiversity and enchanting natural beauty of Tara National Park.
The special significance of this action is reflected in the fact that it is carried out in the tourist zone of Tara National Park. By cleaning this area, not only is the ecological image improved, but the tourist experience of visitors is also enhanced, providing an opportunity to enjoy unspoiled nature.
One of the key objectives of this action was to educate participants. Engineers from the Discover Serbia team shared their knowledge about ecological challenges and provided practical information on how each individual can contribute to nature conservation.
This action also represents a call for other companies to join such initiatives. Through joint efforts, we can achieve lasting changes and improve the quality of life in our natural resources.
We express sincere gratitude to Tara National Park for supporting this action and to the RTS editorial team for the media promotion of ecological values. Only together can we achieve the goals of preserving our natural heritage.
