Discover Serbia, in collaboration with the volunteer group GoGreen Team, has conducted another successful ecological cleaning action, this time focused on preserving the beauty of the Kratovska River Canyon. This action brought together 50 dedicated volunteers from the GoGreen Team, with the support and engagement of four forestry engineers from the Discover Serbia team.

The Kratovska River Canyon, located near Pribojska Banja, is a natural gem with rich biodiversity, caves, and hermitages that attract tourists from various regions. The goal of the action was to preserve this valuable natural resource, create a safe and clean environment for visitors, and develop a new tourism product.

As part of the action, volunteers successfully collected 180 bags of waste, which included various types of litter present in the canyon. The waste was carefully sorted and disposed of responsibly, significantly improving the ecological situation in this area.

In addition to the ecological aspect, the action also had a tourism goal. The cleaned canyon becomes more attractive to visitors, and the aim is to create a new tourism product that will simultaneously promote nature conservation. A clean and well-maintained canyon will attract nature lovers, adventurers, and tourists seeking an authentic experience of untouched nature.

Discover Serbia thanks all the volunteers of the GoGreen Team for their dedication and enthusiasm during the action. This initiative is another step towards nature conservation and tourism development in Serbia.
