With the first days of spring, we continued our major reforestation campaign. As of yesterday, the Lungs of Belgrade are richer by (a symbolic number!) 2,024 new trees, which will serve to improve air quality in the capital for over 100 years to come.

Discover Serbia and Microsoft jointly carried out an activity to improve the schoolyard of ‘King Petar the First’ Primary School in Belgrade, located at King Petar Street no. 7. This educational institution, designed by architect Jelisaveta Načić, represented a symbol of modernity in primary education, not only in Belgrade but also throughout Serbia during the early 20th century.

Volunteers from the GoGreen Team, in collaboration with the Special Nature Reserve “Kovilj-Petrovaradin Marsh” and with the support of Vojvodinašume, conducted a significant cleaning action and freed fish spawning grounds in this natural treasure. The event was held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, bringing together as many as 100 volunteers, including international support from Hungary.
