More than 100 volunteers from Ardagh Metal Packaging set off from Belgrade to Kopaonik with one clear idea – to leave a mark measured by deeds, not words. Instead of a classic team building program, they chose something more powerful and valuable – an ecological reforestation action on the mountain. Organized by the Discover Serbia team, the volunteers spent the day in nature, working side by side, learning, socializing, and contributing to the preservation of our country’s most beautiful natural resources.

At one of the most beautiful locations in Kopaonik, at the foot of the pine forest and in the fresh mountain air, volunteers planted as many as 2000 spruce seedlings – a species crucial for the restoration of mountain ecosystems. The action was accompanied by an ideal day for planting – just as the action began, the sun shone on the field, providing additional energy and motivation to the team that worked tirelessly from the first to the last row of planting.

According to high standards of fieldwork in nature, the reforestation was carried out under the expert supervision of the Discover Serbia team, consisting of forestry engineers and coordinators with years of experience in organizing ecological actions. Discover Serbia provided complete logistics and all tools – hoes, gloves, agricultural equipment, and technical support on the ground, as well as an educational briefing for proper planting and protection of seedlings. The atmosphere was fantastic – a blend of socializing, teamwork, and a strong ecological mission created a day to remember.

Such events demonstrate that social responsibility and care for nature yield results when people work together. We owe immense gratitude to Ardagh Metal Packaging and their amazing volunteers who showed what team spirit looks like in practice.
