More than 100 volunteers from Ardagh Metal Packaging set out from Belgrade to Kopaonik with one clear idea – to join forces and leave a mark measured by actions, not words. Instead of a classic team building program, they chose something more powerful and valuable – an ecological action of reforesting the mountain. Organized by the Discover Serbia team, the volunteers spent a day in nature, working side by side, learning, socializing, and contributing to the preservation of our country’s most beautiful natural resources.

At one of the most beautiful locations on Kopaonik, at the foot of a pine forest and in clean mountain air, the volunteers planted as many as 2000 spruce seedlings – a species crucial for the restoration of mountain ecosystems. The action was accompanied by an ideal day for planting – just as the action began, the sun illuminated the terrain, giving additional energy and motivation to the team that worked tirelessly from the first to the last row of planting.

Following high standards of fieldwork in nature, the reforestation was carried out under the expert supervision of the Discover Serbia team, which consists of forestry engineers and coordinators with years of experience in organizing ecological actions. Discover Serbia provided complete logistics and all tools – pickaxes, gloves, agricultural equipment and technical support in the field, as well as an educational briefing for proper planting and protection of seedlings. The atmosphere was fantastic – a combination of socializing, teamwork, and a strong ecological mission created a day to remember.

Such events show that social responsibility and care for nature bring results when people work together. We owe enormous gratitude to Ardagh Metal Packaging and their excellent volunteers who demonstrated what team spirit looks like in practice.
