A dynamic volunteer action was carried out on the Lim River: eco rafting – an innovative combination of team rafting and river cleaning, in which 32 volunteers from the Go Green team participated. On five professionally equipped rafting boats from our eco-fleet, with neoprene equipment, boots, helmets and safe supervision by trained skippers, volunteers combined the excitement of the descent with a concrete contribution – collecting waste from the river and its banks. Discover Serbia provided complete organization, equipment, safety support and logistics, creating space for a true eco team building. After a day filled with work, nature and team synergy, we ended the evening with a great party, socializing and celebrating the achieved results.

On the second day, the action continued at the beautiful Kokin Brod Lake, where the ecological goal was clear – cleaning the shore and surroundings. Only after successfully completing the work could the team enjoy well-deserved rest: riding SUP boards, boats and kayaks, swimming and sunbathing in a natural environment free of waste. This day showed how powerful teamwork is when will, nature and good organization are combined. The ecological spirit was present in every step – from the first bag of trash to the last paddle in the water.

Over two days, more than 4.2 cubic meters of waste were collected, from hard-to-reach parts of the river and lake shore. This eco team building left a real and measurable impact – but also motivation to continue. The Lim still carries the burden of pollution, and new actions, new teams and constant dedication are needed. This action showed that we can – and we know how.
