In the heart of the beautiful Deliblato Sands, an extraordinary event took place – an ecological team building that brought together volunteers and their families around a common goal: preserving and improving the environment. In this natural gem, known for its unique sandy vegetation and biodiversity, participants spent a day in nature doing meaningful work, connecting with each other, and creating positive change.

What made this initiative special was the combination of collaborative work, outdoor activities, and programs adapted for all ages. Parents and children working side by side – some with tools, some with smiles – demonstrated how small initiatives, when guided by the heart, can bring great results.

During a day filled with positive energy and the will for change, volunteers accomplished much. The hiking trail that leads through one of the most beautiful parts of Deliblato Sands was carefully maintained and expanded, enabling visitors to move through nature more safely and comfortably. At the same time, the access road was cleared, which will significantly facilitate future visits and organization of activities in this area.

Old furniture – benches and tables – received a new look thanks to layers of paint and the skilled hands of volunteers, while the protective fence was renovated and reinforced. All these activities covered an area of over 2 hectares and represent a concrete result of teamwork.

What is particularly important is the fact that these works increased not only the aesthetic value of the space, but also its functionality and safety for future visitors – whether they come for recreation, education, or simply to enjoy nature. This contribution remains permanently visible and serves as a reminder of the power of collective effort.

While adults worked diligently, the youngest enjoyed a specially designed outdoor program. The Survivor sports course encouraged physical activity and team spirit, while Lego workshops with a recycling theme awakened creativity and awareness about preserving the planet. Through an entertaining performance with an animator, children learned about healthy living and the nature that surrounds us in an accessible way.

After successfully completing the activities, the day continued in a relaxed atmosphere – with good food, conversations in the shade of pine trees, and smiles that speak louder than words. It was time for connecting, for exchanging ideas, but also for feeling proud to be part of something greater.
