Fruška Gora became the epicenter of one of the largest environmental actions organized by Discover Serbia and Playrix, which once again demonstrated how social responsibility can be a powerful driver of positive change.

During the all-day Eco Family Day program, volunteers were divided into teams with mentors and technical support, and each team had a specific task. From renovating dilapidated observation posts, to clearing trails, to making and installing birdhouses — every segment of the action was aimed at protecting and improving the natural environment. Key support was provided by the employees of the Fruška Gora National Park, who added extra value to the entire event with their knowledge and presence.

As part of this comprehensive environmental activity, volunteers helped wildlife by setting up 4 feeders, 4 waterers, 4 salt licks and building or renovating 3 observation posts. Old, damaged observation posts were removed, and new ones were installed or renovated to be functional and safe. The paths around them were also improved to allow for easier movement and maintenance. We especially emphasize the exceptional action of installing as many as 200 wooden birdhouses! This activity represents one of the most important segments of the entire project, as it directly contributes to the preservation of the population of various bird species, providing them with safe nesting sites.

The action had a real effect on the ground, showing how an environmental team building can bring concrete, long-term results. Discover Serbia provided complete logistics, team coordination, and ensured that every step was carried out with maximum dedication to nature.

A rich and diverse educational and entertainment program was organized for the youngest participants. Children participated in a sports polygon, enjoyed a science show, learned about recycling and ecology through LEGO robotics, and through interactive environmental workshops got to know the world of wildlife, their behavior and habitats. All activities were carefully adapted to the age of the children, designed to encourage curiosity, knowledge and love for nature.
