In collaboration with the fantastic Go Green team, we carried out the first major volunteer action for kindergarten renovation in the Zemun area – and no less than at the “Vila Zvončica” kindergarten! This pioneering endeavor demonstrated what genuine community care for the youngest looks like. Every corner of the yard shone thanks to the will, team spirit, and dedication of these wonderful people, who showed by their example that change begins with ourselves.

The most important change is reflected in the installation of new rubber flooring, which now replaces the hard concrete and provides children with a safe place to play. This change is much more than a physical modification – it is a message that every child deserves a space where they can freely grow and develop. Additionally, children’s furniture was repaired and refreshed, and worn-out and unsafe elements such as swings and slides were replaced with new ones. The kindergarten was transformed into a real little world of play, colors, and safety.

With smiles, brushes, and good will, the Go Green team volunteers showed how important each individual is in the process of creating a better environment for children. All furniture was painted, old, deteriorated baskets were replaced with new ones, and every corner of the yard received a new color and new purpose. The result? A kindergarten that now looks like something from a fairy tale – and a message that unity always brings the best results.
