During a joint cleanup action at Ada Ciganlija, volunteers from NF Innova demonstrated how significant a change can occur when people unite around a common idea. Ada Ciganlija is one of Belgrade’s most important recreational areas and a place where families, athletes, and everyone seeking a break in nature recreate daily. Therefore, every bag of collected waste is more than “just cleaning” – it is a concrete contribution to preserving a space that we all use and for which we are all responsible. Through joint efforts, a significant amount of waste was collected from the shore and paths, and the result was immediately visible: a tidier environment and a clear message that we can do better.

To ensure the action was efficient and safe, the Discover Serbia team took over the complete on-site organization and provided all necessary materials and logistics, including bags, gloves, and coordinators who led groups and directed activities. The NF Innova volunteers adapted excellently from the very first moment, working dedicatedly and responsibly, and demonstrating true team spirit. It was precisely this energy and good organization that led to great results in a short time and confirmed that sustainable change is possible when everyone does their part. This action is a beautiful and clear example of social responsibility in practice, and at the same time, an invitation to everyone – to follow the example of NF Innova, to get involved in similar initiatives, and to collectively build a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful environment.
