After a successful cleanup operation at Lake Međuvršje near Čačak, 30 dedicated volunteers from the GoGreen team continued their mission to preserve the natural environment, this time in the picturesque Zlatibor village of Semegnjevo.

Upon turning off the main road next to the Belgrade – Bar railway, our volunteers were greeted by the first mini landfill, which only further emphasized the importance of their mission. During this operation, a total of 250 bags of garbage were removed from the beautiful nature we take pride in, significantly improving the condition of this magnificent area.

Semegnjevo, a picturesque Zlatibor village located at an average altitude of about 1,000 meters and 14 kilometers from the center of Zlatibor, is often called the most beautiful village in the world. With this operation, supported by the Public Enterprise Srbijašume, we further enriched this idyllic destination.

We are proud of our tireless volunteers from the GoGreen team, whose work and dedication to preserving Serbia’s natural beauty contribute daily to a cleaner and healthier environment. Their efforts are crucial in addressing environmental issues and creating better conditions for future generations. Join us in our initiatives and help us continue with such actions.

This was the 18th operation this year conducted by the Discover Serbia organization, and the fourth since the beginning of June. Together, we can achieve much more and preserve the natural beauty of our country for all of us.
