Last weekend, we organized an environmental action for Yandex employees and their children!

More than 150 volunteers collected 50 sacks of waste from the riverbanks and less accessible parts of the Kovilj section of the reserve during the action. The volunteers made the greatest contribution by clearing branches and debris from the canals along the old course of the Danube, with the aim of creating better habitat conditions for the existing biodiversity. All of this would not have been possible without the participation of our Eco Fleet, which is supported by our eco-partner Ekostar Pak.

Also on that day, nine nests made of willow branches for perch were constructed and installed within the island of Šlajz.

To ensure the entire event had a lasting educational character for the children present, the Children’s Innovation Center, explained to the children at the LEGO workshop, through the wonders of robotics, how recycling works, while a certified WWF educator explored the secrets of ecology together with the children and parents.
