As many as 35 volunteers gathered to give the yard of the “Zemunski biser” kindergarten a completely new look in just a few hours. Thanks to the collaboration with Microsoft, the Discover Serbia team successfully completed another project, making this the third kindergarten in Zemun to receive a makeover this year.

On May 31, the Discover Serbia Association organized Microsoft Family & Volunteering Day – an event that gathered over 200 participants from Microsoft employees and their families.
This Friday, the yard of King Peter I Elementary School became a space for learning, planting, and connecting through another ecological action organized by Discover Serbia, with strong support from Microsoft.
As part of the Lungs of Belgrade initiative, a major reforestation action took place on October 25th, where 130 volunteers from Microsoft Development Center Serbia planted 2000 seedlings of pedunculate oak, one of the most valuable native species in Serbia.
In cooperation with our partner Ekostar Pak, 20 volunteers from the Microsoft Development Center in Serbia bravely rolled up their sleeves and launched a cleanup campaign, which once again demonstrated the power of unity and dedication to preserving nature.
Discover Serbia, in collaboration with Microsoft, continues to contribute to the preservation and enhancement of our natural beauties. Our latest ecological action, held on May 24, brought together nearly 60 volunteers who worked together to maintain the hiking trails, one of the symbols of Deliblato Sands.

Our latest endeavor, held on May 24 in Deliblato Sands, involved 38 enthusiastic volunteers from Microsoft who contributed their hard work to building a children’s playground in the heart of Čardak.
On May 24, Discover Serbia, together with Microsoft and supported by Vojvodinašume, organized a major ecological action in the Special Nature Reserve Labudovo Okno, part of the Deliblato Sands along the Danube. Labudovo Okno is of exceptional importance for a large number of water bird species, and our task was to clean this precious ecosystem from waste that threatens their habitats.
Discover Serbia and Microsoft jointly carried out an activity to improve the schoolyard of ‘King Petar the First’ Primary School in Belgrade, located at King Petar Street no. 7. This educational institution, designed by architect Jelisaveta Načić, represented a symbol of modernity in primary education, not only in Belgrade but also throughout Serbia during the early 20th century.
The Discover Serbia team, in collaboration with volunteers from Microsoft, successfully carried out an ecological action to clean and arrange Koviljski Rit, one of the precious natural sites in Vojvodina.
