In the spirit of sustainable development and genuine care for nature, Belgrade Airport, a member of the VINCI
Airports group, marked September 22 – VINCI Environment Protection Day, with a major reforestation action in the Petrovčić settlement, in the municipality of Surčin.
On the beautiful slopes of Goč Mountain, on September 22nd, a large-scale ecological reforestation action was held as part of the national initiative “Let’s Reforest Serbia,” implemented by the Discover Serbia organization with the support of Bosch.
A major ecological action took place on the banks of the Galovica canal, one of the key waterways connecting Surčin and New Belgrade, where volunteers from Belgrade Airport powered by VINCI demonstrated exceptional dedication to nature protection.

The WBF organization and the Discover Serbia team jointly launched the regional initiative “Future of Rivers = Future of the Region,” bringing together partners from across the Western Balkans in the fight for clean rivers and healthier ecosystems. Through collaboration with Discover Serbia, Bosch company became part of this major endeavor and involved 90 of their employee volunteers, who made an enormous contribution to achieving the action’s goals through their work.
