This autumn, Discover Serbia continues its successful tradition of collaboration with A1 company, within the initiative ‘Let’s Renovate for Children’. After renovating four kindergartens together last year, we have continued our mission of improving spaces where the youngest grow up this year.
We proudly present NLB DigIT as a new CSR company in the Discover Serbia program dedicated to creating a healthier and higher-quality environment for children. As part of the Let’s Renovate for Children initiative, 50 NLB Digital volunteers joined the major renovation project of the Maja Kindergarten playground in New Belgrade.
At the “Dečiji dani” kindergarten, we started with a clear, ambitious goal: for volunteers from the “Discover Belgrade” organization to plant a total of 2,000 cherry laurel saplings in Belgrade kindergartens and schools during 2025.
In one of Serbia’s most beautiful locations, in the heart of Obedska Bara, a special nature reserve renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, 120 volunteers from Yandex company gathered with the Discover Serbia team to execute one of this year’s most complex ecological initiatives.
Microsoft volunteers and Discover Serbia joined forces at Ada Ciganlija and conducted five environmental activities in one day – cleaning, painting, planting, installing bird houses, and a knowledge quiz – demonstrating that team spirit can change the world.
On one of the most beautiful natural gems in the heart of Belgrade – Great War Island – another remarkable ecological action was organized by Bosch and Discover Serbia, with the support of volunteers from SOS Children’s Villages.
More than 100 volunteers from Ardagh Metal set off from Belgrade to Kopaonik with one clear idea – to leave a mark measured by deeds, not words, through joint efforts.
As many as 35 volunteers gathered to give the yard of the “Zemunski biser” kindergarten a completely new look in just a few hours. Thanks to the collaboration with Microsoft, the Discover Serbia team successfully completed another project, making this the third kindergarten in Zemun to receive a makeover this year.
The new eco-company Servier joined our green movement and demonstrated immense strength at their first event. As many as 50 volunteers from the company stood shoulder to shoulder with us and, as part of World Cleanup Day, took on the challenge of cleaning Great War Island – an area where waste continually accumulates, threatening one of Belgrade’s most beautiful natural sanctuaries.
