The beautiful landscapes of Sjenica Lake gained additional brilliance thanks to the exceptional engagement of educators from the Children’s Innovation Center in Belgrade. This time, their mission was dedicated to cleaning nature, and they chose one of the largest tourist attractions in this part of Serbia as their location.

In the heart of Zlatibor, in the picturesque village of Semegnjevo, we successfully carried out another ecological action with the support of dedicated GoGreen team volunteers. This time, our goal was to clean this beautiful village and create furniture using natural materials.
After a successful cleanup operation at Lake Međuvršje near Čačak, 30 dedicated volunteers from the GoGreen team continued their mission to preserve the natural environment, this time in the picturesque Zlatibor village of Semegnjevo.
Lake Međuvršje has experienced an ecocide during this period due to enormous amounts of floating waste, which was our call to action. Thirty volunteers from the GoGreen team, supported by six rafting boats from the Discover Serbia eco fleet, bravely faced this challenge.
As part of our “Clean the Rivers” initiative, together with volunteers from IVBC company, we organized a cleanup action at Lake Međuvršje, the largest artificial lake on the Western Morava. With the help of three ecological fleet boats and support from our volunteers, we collected about seven cubic meters of waste, approximately 30 bags of floating debris.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, together with volunteers from A1 Serbia, we successfully carried out a greening initiative at the “Lastavica” kindergarten in New Belgrade, as part of our “Let’s Arrange for Children” initiative.
Discover Serbia, in collaboration with Microsoft, continues to contribute to the preservation and enhancement of our natural beauties. Our latest ecological action, held on May 24, brought together nearly 60 volunteers who worked together to maintain the hiking trails, one of the symbols of Deliblato Sands.
Discover Serbia, in collaboration with Microsoft, continues to bring positive changes to our community. Our latest endeavor, held on May 24 in Deliblato Sands, involved 38 enthusiastic volunteers from Microsoft who contributed their hard work to building a children’s playground in the heart of Čardak.
On May 24, Discover Serbia, together with Microsoft and supported by Vojvodinašume, organized a major ecological action in the Special Nature Reserve Labudovo Okno, part of the Deliblato Sands along the Danube. Labudovo Okno is of exceptional importance for a large number of water bird species, and our task was to clean this precious ecosystem from waste that threatens their habitats.
We successfully conducted the fifth volunteer environmental action aimed at preserving habitats and biodiversity, as well as improving the quality of visitors’ stay in the protected area of the Special Nature Reserve “Obedska Bara”. This action represented a joint effort to preserve the natural values of this unique area, known worldwide as the “Bird Eldorado” and the “Beauty of Srem”.
