Coca-Cola with Discover Serbia – a donation that launched the eco fleet

The company Coca-Cola provided one of the most significant forms of support to Discover Serbia through a donation intended for the development and improvement of the eco fleet—an initiative that has become an important part of the “Let’s Clean Serbia’s Rivers” programme.

This donation is of particular importance to us, because it was not merely financial support for a single activity, but an investment in a system that made it possible to elevate river clean-ups in Serbia to a higher level. Thanks to this support, Discover Serbia was able to develop a model of field actions that includes cleaning riverbanks, removing waste from the water, and accessing locations that are often difficult to reach without adequate equipment and boats.

Coca-Cola’s support helped establish new standards in the organisation of environmental actions in Serbia. The eco fleet enabled more efficient, safer, and more visible work in the field, while also demonstrating how corporate support can have a long-term impact when directed towards concrete and sustainable solutions.
