A total of 1,200 Photinia seedlings (lat. Photinia) were planted as a symbol of a new beginning for young people from the Zvezda Center, to support children without parental care in becoming independent.<\/p>\n\n

We worked diligently, but we also learned something.<\/h2>\n\n

The name comes from the Greek word photeinos<\/em>, meaning “shiny”<\/strong>. This refers to its leaves, which are so smooth that they reflect light as if they were lacquered.Believe it or not\u2014it is a relative of the rose and the apple. <\/p>\n\n
